Faith Journey of a Lifetime through the Holy Land
February 4-13, 2018

NALM's second annual pilgrimage to the Holy Land will be held from  February 4-13, 2018. We are excited to offer our members discounted prices on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. For 10 days, NALM members are led on a tour of the Holy Land by experienced guides. Walk in the footsteps of Jesus and his followers in Galilee, the Mount of the Beatitudes, Jesus’ birthplace in Bethlehem, the site of the transfiguration at Mount Tabor, Jerusalem, Nazareth, the Dead Sea, and many more places.

The NALM member price is $3,396, which includes double occupancy accommodations.

Payment Schedule:

  • Deposit ($600, due at Pilgrimage Registration)
  • Final Payment (due by October 7, 2017)

Please note:

  • Color copy of passenger's passport inside identification pages due by October 7, 2017
  • Passports must be valid until September 13, 2018

Day 1     Depart USA for Tel Aviv, Israel

Day 2     Bruchim ha'ba-im!  Arrive Ben Gurion International Airport

  • Go to hotel

Day 3     Casearea/Acre/Galilee

  • Roman Theatre
  • Herod's Palace
  • the Palace of the Roman Procurator
  • Haifa
  • Church of Stella Maris, a Carmelite Monastery, for Mass
  • Acre to visit the old city with the city walls
  • Knight's Hall and Harbor
  • Nazareth for dinner and overnight

Day 4    Galilee

  • visit Magdala
  • Mass at the Boat Altar
  • tour of Sea of Galilee
  • Nazareth and Church of the Annunciation
  • Mary's well
  • Cana
  • Overnight in Nazareth

Day 5    Banyas/Golan Heights/Tabgha

  • Mount of Beatitudes and Mass
  • Banyas (ancient city of Caesarea Philippi)
  • Visit Tabgha to visit Church of the Loaves and Fishes and Church of Mensa Christi
  • Dinner aboard night cruise on Sea of Galilee
  • Overnight in Nazareth

Day 6     Nazareth/Mount Tabor/Megiddo/Jerusalem

  • Mass at Basilica of the Annunciation
  • St. Joseph's Workshop
  • Mary's Well
  • Chapel of Charles de Foucauld
  • Mount Tabor and site of the Transfiguration
  • Overnight in Jerusalem

Day 7     Jerusalem (Old City)

  • St. Mary of the Resurrection Abbey,
  • walk through Lion's Gate to Church of St. Anne and the Pools of Bethesda
  • Via Dolorosa praying the Stations of the Cross
  • Mass at the Holy Sepulchre
  • Ascent the Mount of Olives to visit the Chapel of the Ascension, the Church of Pater Noster
  • visit Church of Dominus Flevit
  • Garden of Gethsemane and visit the Basilica of the Agony
  • Overnight in Jerusalem

Day 8     Jerusalem, the New City/Bethlehem

  • Mount Zion and visit the Room of the Last Supper and Tomb of King David
  • tour through the Jewish Quarter
  • Western Wall (Wailing Wall)
  • Dung Gate
  • Ein Kerem to visit the Church of St. John and Church of the Visitation
  • Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity, St. Catherine's Church, and Mass at St. Jerome's Chapel
  • overnight in Jerusalm

Day 9     Qumran/Dead Sea/Baptismal Service at Qasr El Yehud

  • Visit Qumran
  • Visit to the Dead Sea
  • Qasr El Yehud to renew baptismal promises
  • Farewell Ceremony
  • late night check out for early morning flight to the US

Day 10     Return home
