Each year NALM provides an opportunity for lay ministers across the country to come together at its national conference to network, learn, and celebrate their gifts and calling as lay ecclesial ministers. Often held in conjunction with the annual gathering of the National Leadership Roundtable on Church Management, the multi-day event offers the opportunities to hear noted theological speakers, pastoral practicioners, and others from around the country who are committed to the professional advancement of lay ministry in the United States.

National Conference for Catechetical Leadership| National Association for Lay Ministry | Federation for Catechesis with Hispanics

We come together in Chicago this year to celebrate this collaborative conference with the NCCL, NALM, and FCH. Apart from the opportunity for prayer, rejuvenation, and formation, our gathering will provide us with the best opportunity to connect as catechetical professionals. You’ll come away with confidence in leadership, a broader and deeper network, and fresh ideas ready to use in your own faith community.

2017 Conference: Joy on the Journey - Serve. Collaborate. Dream.

The 41st Annual NALM Conference was a great success! It gathered multigenerational professionals ministering in parish, diocesan, higher education, seminary, healthcare, prison, and Catholic not-for-profit ministries.

The Conference was a time to celebrate, gain new ministerial insights, and rejuvenate while networking with dedicated and highly creative professionals.  We celebrated NALM's 41st Anniversary and received updates on the organization and rousing keynotes and workshops.
